About This Project:

Jennifer East
It is an honor and privilege to work with awesome charity each day, as cofounder and creative director. There are so many amazing world changers who have stories to tell. We offer a platform with multiple options to help connect the dots.
Project Description
Since 2019, we have worked on the following films:
Moving History, an eye-opening historical documentary that starts with a little cabin built by three freedmen in the 1800s after their journey to Florida. They started a community and the first church for people of color, in Melbourne, Florida.
Murder at Turglas Abbey is a campy, fun film created as another successful bUneke Productions fundraiser for Green Gables. We’ve added new scenes and are ready to release it to film festivals and other fun venues.
Forgotten Enchantress is the story of Green Gables, in the voice of the Queen Anne-style Victorian house, built in Melbourne, Florida, by William T. and Nora Wells, in the late 19th century. Forgotten Enchantress documents the contributions of the innovative family that built the house and the family's legacy. In-person screenings and a highly successful GoFundMe campaign helped Green Gables raise nearly $500,000 toward the purchase of the beloved home.
Ruby Holland Foundation Documentary brings to life the mission and fascinating stories of why it is so important to give talented young people the opportunity to train at the prestigious ORFEO Music Festival in Italy.

We Know You’re There! We don’t know what you want or who you are, but we know you’re there! This supernatural thriller is based on an actual event and pulls you into the lives of a single mom and her teenage daughters as they struggle to solve the mystery that envelops their lives and even affects the family dog.
In Post-Production
Two Brevard County equestrian rescues have been filmed and are in post production. We're excited to share how Hidden Acres Rescue for Thoroughbreds and Walk on Water Ministries are changing human and animal lives.
In Pre-Production
The Longest Walk is a thrilling, action-packed film based on actual events that occurred to a young, black man in the 1950s.
Project Needs
Since 2019, bUneke has created documentary films such as Forgotten Enchantress, The Ruby Holland Foundation Documentary, Moving History, and several films that are in various stages of production - all on equipment borrowed from our volunteers. We have also created other films such as murder mysteries that other nonprofits have used in fundraising efforts.
We have entered these films in free film festivals and want to submit to more prestigious festivals that charge an entry fee.
A film sponsor could feed cast and crew, pay for out-of-town volunteers' gas, and help us build our film studio so we no longer need to ask our volunteers to bring their own cameras, lights, and microphones.
